Terms of service
These terms apply to everyone who uses the ugcproduction.com service: brands, agencies and creators. By creating an account you accept them. Last updated October 21, 2026.
1. The service and who provides it
UgcProduction is a UGC production platform operated by the administrator of the ugcproduction.com service. It lets brands and agencies write briefs, cast creators, review and approve videos, manage usage rights and pay creators, and it lets creators keep a profile and receive paid briefs. Questions about these terms go to [email protected].
2. Accounts
- You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter a contract.
- Brand and agency accounts are for business use.
- You confirm your email address with a one-time code and keep your password safe.
- You are responsible for activity in your account and in the workspaces you own.
- Information you give us must be accurate and kept up to date.
3. Plans, billing and renewal
- Brand and agency plans are subscriptions billed monthly or yearly in USD, at the prices shown on the pricing page when you subscribe.
- Plans renew automatically at the end of each period until you cancel.
- Upgrades apply right away with a prorated charge. Downgrades apply from the next period.
- Monthly limits of your plan reset with each billing period and do not carry over.
- Taxes are added where they apply.
- We may change prices for future periods with at least 30 days notice by email. The change applies from your next renewal.
4. Cancellation and refunds
You can cancel at any time in your billing settings. Your plan stays active until the end of the paid period and does not renew. Payments for a period that has started are not refunded, except where the law requires a refund. You can export your briefs, videos and licences before your account closes.
5. Creators, escrow and the platform fee
- Creators are independent and set their own rates for each brief. UgcProduction is not their employer.
- When a creator accepts a brief, the brand funds the production. The amount is held in escrow and released to the creator when the brand approves the delivery.
- Each production includes the revision rounds stated in the brief. If a brand does not respond to a delivery within the review period stated in the brief, the delivery may be treated as approved.
- The platform fee is a percentage added to each creator payout, set by the brand's plan.
- Disputes about a delivery are reviewed by UgcProduction based on the brief, the comments and the files in the production.
6. Content, ownership and usage rights
- Brands keep all rights to their brand assets and product information.
- Creators keep ownership of their footage unless the licence says otherwise, and grant the brand the usage rights written in the licence of each approved asset: term, channels, paid usage and any Spark Ads or whitelisting permission.
- The licence starts when the payout for the asset is released.
- Use outside the licence, or after it ends, requires a new agreement with the creator.
- You give UgcProduction a limited permission to store, process and display your content only to provide the service.
7. Acceptable use
You must not use the service to:
- create misleading ads, fake reviews or testimonials from people who did not use the product,
- make health, financial or other claims that the law or the ad platform does not allow,
- promote illegal products or content involving minors,
- contact creators or brands to move paid work off the platform to avoid the platform fee,
- break the security of the service or access other workspaces.
Creators must follow the disclosure rules of the platforms and the law, such as marking paid partnerships.
8. Ad account connections and AI features
Connections to Meta and TikTok ad accounts are read-only and used for performance tagging. You can disconnect them at any time. AI features write hooks, scripts, shot lists, edit variants and, on eligible plans, AI avatar videos. You are responsible for reviewing AI output before you publish it.
9. Availability and liability
We work to keep the service available and secure. Enterprise plans include an SLA of 99.9 percent as described in the Enterprise agreement. Ad results depend on many factors outside our control, so we do not promise any particular ad performance. To the extent the law allows, our total liability is limited to the fees you paid in the 12 months before the claim.
10. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms, after notice where that is possible. You may close your account at any time.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. Important changes are announced by email at least 30 days in advance. If you keep using the service after the change, the new terms apply.
