UGC services in 8 stages, from brief to delivered ad
UgcProduction runs UGC services as one production board with 8 stages, from the first brief to a delivered, rights-cleared ad file. Brands and agencies write the brief with AI hooks, cast vetted creators, ship the product, review footage on the frame and pay creators through escrow on approval. The result is a steady flow of UGC ads for TikTok, Meta, YouTube Shorts and Amazon without chasing creators in DMs or tracking rights in spreadsheets.

How UGC production works on one board
Every production moves through the same 8 stages, and every stage has a clear owner. The board shows where each video sits, who acts next and what is still missing, so nobody asks for status updates in chat threads.
- 1 Brief, written by the brand with AI hooks, script beats and a shot list
- 2 Casting, where creators apply or get invited and the brand builds a shortlist
- 3 Shipping product, with tracking attached to each creator
- 4 Filming, done by the creator against the shot list
- 5 Review, with comments pinned to the exact frame
- 6 Revisions, counted in rounds agreed in the brief
- 7 Approved, which releases the escrow payout and issues the licence
- 8 Delivered, with final files, raw footage and the licence PDF per asset

Brief, casting, shipping and filming
The first half of the board turns an idea into footage. The brand writes the brief once, and UgcProduction turns it into material a creator can film in one take.
-
1. Brief
The strategist enters the product, audience, angle, platform, format and deliverables. UgcProduction writes hook options, script beats with on-screen text and a shot list, and the strategist edits what does not fit the brand voice. The brief also sets lengths, aspect ratios, revision rounds and the usage rights the brand needs.
-
2. Casting
The brand invites creators from the vetted marketplace or opens a casting where creators apply. Filters cover niche, platform, style, language and on-camera type. The strategist builds a shortlist, compares portfolios and rates set by the creators, and confirms the cast.
-
3. Shipping product
For physical products the brand enters tracking per creator. The board flags shipments that have not arrived, so filming does not start late and no creator waits without the product.
-
4. Filming
The creator films against the shot list and the hooks in the brief, then uploads the cut and the raw footage.
Review, revisions, approval and delivery
The second half of the board is where most UGC services lose time. UgcProduction keeps feedback, revisions, payment and rights in the same place.
-
5. Review
The reviewer watches the cut in the browser and leaves comments on the exact frame, for example a mispronounced product name at second 4 or a logo out of focus. Comments stay attached to the version they refer to.
-
6. Revisions
Revision rounds are counted against the number agreed in the brief. The creator sees a clear list of changes, uploads a new version, and the board keeps every version for comparison.
-
7. Approved
Approval releases the escrow payout to the creator and generates the licence for the asset with term, channels and paid usage. The brand receives an invoice for the creator fee and the platform fee.
-
8. Delivered
Final files arrive in every ordered aspect ratio, with raw footage when the brief asks for it. Hook swaps, captions and edit variants run from the same asset, and the licence PDF sits next to each file.
UGC service roles for brands, creators and the platform
UGC services work when every role knows its part. The board assigns each step to a role, and seats and roles grow with the plan.
| Role | What they do on the board |
|---|---|
| Owner | Sets up the workspace, brands, plan, seats and payment method |
| Strategist | Writes and edits the brief, runs casting, picks hooks and formats |
| Reviewer | Watches cuts, comments on frames, approves or requests a revision |
| Finance | Sees invoices, escrow payouts and platform fees per brand |
| Creator | Applies to briefs, films, uploads cuts and raw footage, gets paid on approval |
| UgcProduction | Writes hooks and shot lists, vets creators, holds escrow, issues licences, tags ad performance |

What happens after the ad goes live
Delivery is not the end of the production. On Growth and up, the read-only connection to Meta and TikTok ad accounts tags each ad by hook, creator and format, so the next brief starts from what sold. UGC creatives testing shows the winning hooks report, and UGC usage rights sends reminders before a licence term expires on an ad that still runs.
- Performance tags per ad from Meta and TikTok
- Winning hooks and creators report for the next brief
- Expiry reminders for rights on running ads
- Whitelisting and Spark Ads permission on Growth and up
UGC services without an agency retainer
An agency retainer buys hours, and a per-video marketplace buys single files. UgcProduction gives the brand the production system itself on a monthly plan, with a lower platform fee on creator payouts the more the brand produces (12 percent on Starter down to 3 percent on Enterprise). Creators set their own rates, and the brand sees every rate before casting. Compare the full module list on UGC production software or start with the creators on hire UGC creators.

It depends on shipping and on the creators you cast. Digital products skip the shipping stage and often move from brief to first cut within days. Physical products add shipping time, which the board tracks per creator.
The reviewer comments on the exact frame and requests a revision. Revision rounds are set in the brief, and the escrow payout is released only when the brand approves the cut.
No. Every plan is self-serve with a Get started button, monthly or yearly. There are no sales calls, and you can contact [email protected] with questions.
The brand receives a licence per asset with the term, channels and paid usage agreed in the brief. The licence PDF sits next to each delivered file, so the terms are always clear.
