UGC platform FAQ for brands and agencies
Answers to the questions brands and agencies ask before they run UGC production on UgcProduction: how creators are vetted, who owns the footage, how payouts and the platform fee work, and how plans renew and cancel.
Getting started
UgcProduction is a UGC platform for brands and agencies. You write a brief with AI hooks, cast vetted creators, review and approve videos, and keep usage rights and ad performance for every asset in one board.
DTC and ecommerce brands, subscription apps, Amazon sellers and performance agencies that need a steady flow of new UGC ads for TikTok, Meta, YouTube Shorts, Instagram and Amazon.
You can plan a brief on the homepage in about a minute. After you create an account and choose a plan, you can invite creators to the same brief right away.
Yes, with one demo production brief on the homepage, no account needed. It shows hooks, a script, the shot list and the creator profile for your product. There is no free plan.
No. Creators film and edit to your brief, and you review the videos in the production board in your browser.
Creators and casting
Creators apply with a portfolio, and profiles are reviewed for video quality, on-camera delivery and audience fit before they can receive paid briefs. You see each profile's niche, platforms, style and language before you invite anyone.
Filter the marketplace by niche, platform, style, language and on-camera type, then invite creators to your brief or open a casting and pick from a shortlist. Read more on how to hire UGC creators.
Creators set their own rate for each brief. You see the rate before you accept, and nothing is charged until a creator accepts and you fund the production.
The production board has a Shipping product stage. You add the shipping details and tracking, and the creator confirms delivery before filming starts.
Yes. You can save creators to a list for each brand and invite them straight to the next brief.
Production and quality
Every production includes revision rounds. You comment directly on frames, the creator delivers a revised cut, and the creator is paid only after you approve.
You choose the deliverables in the brief: format, length, aspect ratios 9:16, 4:5, 1:1 and 16:9, captions, hook variations and raw footage.
No. The AI writes hooks, script beats, shot lists and edit variants, and on Growth and higher plans it produces AI avatar videos within your monthly limit. Real creators film the core content.
Yes. Teammates comment on frames, and reviewers approve or request changes. Scale adds roles for owner, strategist, reviewer and finance.
Rights and ad platforms
Your brand owns the right to use each approved video for the term and channels written in its licence. Raw footage you ordered is delivered to you, and the licence PDF for every asset stays in your library.
Yes. On Growth and higher plans the licence records Spark Ads and whitelisting permission, and the creator shares the authorization inside the production.
You get a reminder before the end of the term. You can extend the licence with the creator in the same place, or pause the ad before the term ends.
A read-only connection to your Meta and TikTok ad accounts. UgcProduction reads ad names and delivery results to tag ads by hook, creator and format. It never changes budgets, ads or settings.
Billing and plans
Starter is 99 USD per month, Growth 249 USD, Scale 599 USD and Enterprise 1 499 USD. Paid yearly, the same plans cost 49, 124, 299 and 749 USD per month. Details are on UGC pricing.
You fund the production when the creator accepts the brief. The money is held in escrow and released to the creator when you approve the video. You get an invoice for every payout.
A percentage added to each creator payout that covers escrow, payout handling, contracts and invoicing. It is 12 percent on Starter, 8 percent on Growth, 5 percent on Scale and 3 percent on Enterprise.
No. Plans renew monthly or yearly and you can cancel any time from your account. Access stays active until the end of the period you paid for.
Cancel from the billing settings in your account. Your plan stays active until the end of the paid period and does not renew after that. Your briefs, videos and licences remain available to export.
